Club Penguin Announces Brand New App!

Club Penguin has announced that they've made a Club Penguin App for iPhones, iPod Touches, and iPads! They couldn't give much away, but looking in the comments on the CP blog, Billybob says that the App will be sort of like a mini game, and that the App will be 99 cents at the App Store. Do you think the App will have something to do with the EPF?

Also, Gooshoe told me about a Club Penguin Code that works for everyone! To unlock the code, all you have to do is go to the Club Penguin Home Page and click on the "Unlock Items Online" link right under the jackhammer penguin. Now log into your account, click "I have a Code" button and type in this code :

 d23exp11 (the last two digits are ones)

You will get the Green Snow Jacket!

New Tootsville Toot Board Meeting!

Hey guys! A new Toot Board meeting is announced! The meeting will be held this Sunday, September 4th in Tootsville at 8 PM Eastern time. New toot or old toot, please come! We could use your help if you have awesome ideas! If you have no idea what I'm talking about, click here.

Keep in mind that Toot Board isn't specifically about Toot Troop and Shadow. This club is about Tootsville as whole - a virtual world. What are some things we can do to improve Tootsville as a virtual world? Like last time, if you aren't able to make it PLEASE comment your ideas below and I will be sure to mention them at the meeting or a to magic toot.

Shade Speaks!!!!!

Hello all Tootsville fans! Those of you that have played Tootsville for a while and know what its like, you may have heard the whole "How Shade came to be!" story, told from Louis or another magic toot. But have you ever heard Shade's side of the story? Shade exclusively wants all Toots to know the REAL true story!

You may have heard magic toots claim that he was made from all the bad wishes Toots have made, or that Shade wished himself to be the way he is today, but according to Shade, it's not true!! Here's what I got out of from his story:

Just like you and I, Shade was once an actual, normal toot! In fact, Louis, Superstar, Tootfairy, and all the other magic toots were great friends with Shade! It all started when Louis wished in the wishing fountains to be the Mayor of Tootsville. When he became the Mayor, each and every fountain in Tootsville obeyed him, and he received all the wishes Toots made.


Then Shade also wished in the wishing fountain to be the mayor, just to see what it was like. When Louis knew about Shade's wish, he turned on his best friend. He told everyone else to turn on him to. He told them that Shade was bad, that it was againest the rules to speak of his name and Louis told him that he got what he deserved.

Louis then banished Shade and turned him into what he looks like today. Shade fled to the mountains, where his anger grew. He then dedicated himself to make Louis and all the other magic toots pay for what they've done to him.


 Why couldn't there be more than one mayor? Why couldn't we all just vote for a mayor?

 And if you click on the top of the tower behind Rookie, you will see another secret message from the Director!

Club Penguin New Chat System Beta Testing!

In Club Penguin's last Developer Update post, they mentioned that Beta Team testers were going to test something different than a game prototype..... We're testing a new chat system for Club Penguin!!

Billybob states that some penguins were having trouble chatting with your buddies because of the chat filters, and asked to make the chat easier to use. You asked, and the CP Team listened!!! Here's some new improvements:

• Now you'll see suggested words above the chat bar as you write sentences!
• You can click the words that appear, and the system will automatically complete the word for you! Now you'll be able to chat way quicker than before!
• Tons more phrases than Ultimate Safe Chat... Over 300,000 phrases!

Remember that this is on the Beta Team site only, it hasn't been released yet to Club Penguin. Start Beta Testing here, and remember to let Club Penguin know if you find any bugs!

 When you log in and get to the game screen, click on Test Server to beta test the new chat system. Also, if you look below that, you will see a new game prototype - Puffle Pop! Make sure you check that out as well!

Club Penguin Great Snow Race Sneak Peek Video! UPDATE!!!!

Hey guys! Sorry I wasen't able to post the new newspaper and the new System Defender level yesterday, stay tuned for those posts in a bit!

First, I wanted to show you Happy77's sneak peek video of the Great Snow Race coming on the 25th!

New Club Penguin System Defender Level: Track Herbert!

Herbert is attacking the EPF mainframe once again!! It's up to us to stop him from creating any destruction to the island! Click "Defend System" to play the level!

I'm surprised that it wasn't amazing hard, but it did take me a couple of tries at the very beginning.

After you've defeated Herbert, you will earn TWO medals!!

I also wanted to point out to you what Gary says during the game:

 
No wonder our party is at the Toughest Mountain! If you look back when I posted Happy77's sneak peak of the Great Snow Race, it looked like she was traveling up to the top of Toughest Mountain (or down I guess) so do you think we'll meet Herbert up there and battle it out??

Don't forget about Stamps! After you complete the level, you will get a Stamp!

Club Penguin Chilly News!

 A new Club Penguin Times is at your doorstep!!

Club Penguin has FINALLY revealed why Gary has actually planned this Great Snow Race! Gary tells the public that he needs help setting up the AC 3000 to cool down the island for the Great Snow Race! But is that the really, most important reason to have a gigantic AC in the middle of the Ski Village? Of course not......

The Director also announces to the public that they need more EPF members! So much for the "secret classified group of penguins that defend Club Penguin"! Check out what he says:

If you click on the EPF logo, a secret message from the Director pops up!

So the Great Snow Race is really for putting Herbert into hibernation and capture him once and for all!!! And it seems that they have already found Herbert's location!

August 16 Club Penguin Developer Update!

Billybob has a developer update for us once again! Here are the behind the scenes look at the stuff the CP Team has been working on, and the things that will be coming to the island in the next few months:

New System Defender level - We're just about finished a brand new level for the EPF-only game System Defender. The new level will be released at the end of this week. Remember that you'll need to be a secret agent to play the game!

The Great Snow Race - Next week we'll be releasing the first ever "Great Snow Race", a party for extreme sports fans! We'll let you know more about this one next week. But for now, here's a sneak peek:

Bugs squashed - There are a few silly bugs out there that we're in the process of squashing. Don't worry -- we've heard you and we're working on them every week. Thanks for letting us know about them. Remember to let us know what web browser you're using and the server you were on if you're letting us know about a bug.

Beta Team testing - We're just about finished setting up something special for the Beta Team testers. Testers: get ready to help beta test something a little different than a game...

I hope this Great Snow Race/big EPF surprise is really awesome, since Club Penguin and the EPF are keeping this new party RREEAALLYY private to the penguins... And what do you think we'll be beta testing soon? A new room(s)?

New Puffle Accessory: Puffle Hats!!!

Earlier today, Billybob posted about the new catalog launching, and also mentioned about the Club Penguin Team working on hats for puffles!

Now, you might have already heard of this before if you've seen this video before:



Jessika, a Club Penguin artist, says some of the hats that puffles will be able to wear are: baseball caps, top hats, sombreros, and more!!

Club Penguin Athletic Snow Race News!

 A new Club Penguin Time is at your doorstep!

Just a reminder, the Great Snow Race party is starting on the 25th! What we didn't know was that the party will be held on the Toughest Mountain! The awesome thing about this is that everyone can go on the mountain this year!!! Yay for non-members!!!!!! What kind of race do you think we're going to be racing? Sled? Snowboard? Ski?

Club Penguin Furniture Catalog Sneak Peek!

A new Igloo furniture catalog is coming out early this Friday along with snow sports furniture for the Snow Race party coming later this month! Check out the sneak peek Club Penguin gave us:

Also, Club Penguin also wants us to know that a new version of Fluffy the Fish game has been added to the Beta Team site! Check it out now! <---- click the link, and click the link that CP provides to get to the Beta Team site.

The newer version isn't much different from the other one; it has the same concept. First you start out by eating these little green ball things, and as you keep eating them, the yellow bar will fill up. Once it's completely filled, Fluffy will grow! There is also different ways on how to control Fluffy. You can use your arrow keys, mouse press, or Fluffy following your mouse. Which control do you like better? Make sure you tell Club Penguin your thoughts!!

Club Penguin Great Snow Race News!

 A new Club Penguin Times newspaper is at your doorstep!

Gary reveals the new party coming later this month - the Great Snow Race!! What seems to be the question is that why is Gary throwing an extreme sports party? Do you think this party is a distraction for whats coming up for EPF agents soon? Take a closer look at the picture; do you see the tracks and the crab behind he Ski Lodge??

This reminds me of one the missions (I can't remember if it was a PSA mission or if it was one of the Club Penguin DS game missions) where we had to cross a frozen lake behind the Ski Lodge and hide a video camera in one of the trees that was near Herbert's hideout (which was on the other side of the lake...which is where the crab (Klutzy?) is) ...... Do you remember what I'm talking about? lol.

Anyways, the Great Snow Race party starts on the 25th!!

Tootsville Board: Lets Help Tootsville Become a Better Place!

Have you noticed Tootsville being a little quiet lately? Do you miss past Tootsville memories that you would like to bring back? I'm sure a lot of you, if not most of you have something that they miss about Tootsville; I know I do.

A few dedicated Toots have recently formed a group called the Tootsville Board. Basically, the goal is for Toots to gather together and come up with ideas to make Tootsville a better place (not saying that it isn't a better place already..)! The first meeting is going to be held in Tootsville at Toot Burger (follow the "Food" sign from Toot Square), this Sunday at 8PM Eastern Time Zone. PLEASE come if you have awesome ideas forming in your brain!!!!!!!!!

If you're unable to make the meeting, PLEASE comment your ideas, thoughts, and other things that have popped in your head while reading this post! Remember, anything in Tootsville can happen! Tootsville reads this blog! Who knows, your ideas and wishes might become a reality!
