How To: Club Penguin

Hello people of Club Penguin! Here I will be posting "How To" things and quick cheats about Club Penguin! If you want me to do a "How To" about CP that I already haven't done, please tell me and I will make one! I will keep posting "How To's" on this page so always check here!

How To become an EPF Agent:

Before I tell you how to become an EPF Agent, let me tell you what it is! EPF (Elite Penguin Force) is a large group of "classified" penguins whose job is to defend the island from Herbert P. Bear, Protobot, and any other enemies secretly lurking around. An EPF agent has a Spy Phone (which has many cool and useful gadgets), Field Ops, uniforms/clothes, and more!

To become an EPF Agent, you must take a test! To get to the test, log in to Club Penguin, click on your map, and go to the Ski Village. Once you're there, waddle into the Everyday Phoning Facility.

Once you walk in, you'll notice the telephone ringing; click on it!

From here on, your test will start! Your first task will be to throw a snowball at a target, the telephone will then transform into a screen, giving you instructions on what to do!

Once you pass the test, an entrance to the EPF Command Room will appear; waddle through it!

You will then get a message congratulating you!

Here's what the EPF Command Room looks like. To the left, you will see a screen that says System Defender. System Defender is a game which basically tells our goal: to defend our EPF Systems and the island! To the right, you will see a screen that says Field-Ops. Here, you'll click on the screen and  be given your task to stop threats or train up!

Let me explain your most important gadget as an EPF Agent: your Spy Phone!

Elite Gear: Here you can buy tons of gear and clothing for your agent penguin! Instead of buying gear with your coins, you trade in your earned medals from Field-Ops for gear!

Field-Ops:  Here you can access the newest Field-Op! Every week or so Club Penguin will launch a "mini mission" in which we have to find something somewhere around Club Penguin that may be a threat from our enemies, or training for future encounters with enemies. Each Field-Op, we have to solve a puzzle (some easy, some hard), and if we solve it, we will get a medal for our hard work!

Teleport: This is a cool gadget in which you can teleport to any room in Club Penguin (not counting party rooms or members only rooms) without using your map!

Recruit: Have a buddy who wants to be a EPF Agent? You can recruit them by sending a postcard! It will give you instructions on how to do it.

Elite Puffle: If you are a member agent and have the Club Penguin Nintendo DS game: Herbert's Revenge (in stores), you can enter a code that's provided with the DS game for your penguin account that lets you have an elite puffle named Flare. Flare is a special kind of puffle that's trained to do something specific to help agents (in Flare's case, he welds and does stuff with fire ;D ). If or when you have an elite puffle, you can use this icon to call it.

Messages: Here you can see updates, alerts, or any other messages members from the EPF post out to all of us agents. People that message us are people like: Gary the Gadget Guy, Dot, Rookie, Jetpack Guy, Herbert P. Bear, the Director, and others.

How to become a Ninja (plus Water and Fire Ninja):
If you're new to Club Penguin, have you checked out the Dojo yet? Have you seen some penguins wearing belts, masks, ninja-like clothing, and doing cool actions and dances? Those penguins are NINJAS, and you can be one too!! Of course, to become a Ninja, you have to earn it!

It starts out by earning your ninja black belt. Just like real life karate or Taekwondo, you have to earn a series of colored belts before you can earn the black belt and become a ninja.

How do you earn these belts you ask? You have to play the game called Card-Jitsu! To play Card-Jitsu, you HAVE to remember this:

  • water DEFEATS fire
  • fire DEFEATS snow
  • snow DEFEATS water
Check out this video I made that shows you Sensei's tutorial on how to play the game:

Now that you know how to play the game, you need to start earning those belts!!! Log into Club Penguin, go to the Dojo, and visit Sensei before you start playing (waddle over to the Card-Jitsu sign inside the Dojo). Sensei will then introduce you, give you your playing cards and all that stuff. Once you start earning your belts, you will see an icon at the bottom right of your screen that has three Card-Jitsu cards on it. Click on that and it will show you how close you are to earning your next belt!

Good luck on becoming a Ninja! Remember, once you earn your black belt, challenge Sensei, and when you beat him, you will become a Ninja, earn your Ninja Mask, and have access to the Ninja Hideout!

To get the Ninja Hideout, go to the Dojo Courtyard on your map, and waddle into the Ninja Hideout right next to the Dojo entrance!

Welcome to the Ninja Hideout!! Unfortunatly, if your not a member, your journey ends here, but congratz anyways! Now for member ninjas, you can buy the ninja items I told you about earlier in the Martial Arts catalog on the bottom right of your screen, right above the Card-Jitsu tracker. Not too long ago, Club Penguin added new outfits to the catalog, along with some hidden item cheats. Check out this video to see them:

To take your journey further as a member ninja, you must buy the Amulet in the Martial Arts catalog, the first item in the catalog.

Water Ninja
Besides being a regular Ninja penguin, you can also be a Water or Fire Ninja (also a Snow Ninja but Club Penguin hasn't launched it yet)! To be a Water or Fire Ninja you have to:

  • Be a Ninja
  • Have access to the Ninja Hideout
  • Have the Amulet from the Martial Arts catalog
  • Have a Club Penguin membership
Card-Jitsu Water and Fire (and eventually Snow) both have their own Dojos. To get to the Water Dojo, log into Club Penguin, click on your map and go to the Dojo Courtyard. Now waddle into the Ninja Hideout and there you'll see two stone things light up with either a water or fire symbol on the left and right side of the room.

Click on the stone with the water symbol on it and an entrance to the Water Dojo will pop up.

Waddle into the entrance and you will be at the Water Dojo!

Now, the process of becoming a Water Ninja is the same, except instead of earning belts your earning your Ninja Water Suit. The basic concept of the Card-Jitsu card game is also the same as earning your basic ninja abilities, except for Card-Jitsu Water (and Card-Jitsu Fire and Snow), there's a twist to the game or it's played differently. In all Card-Jitsu games (Water, Fire, and Snow):
  • water DEFEATS fire
  • fire DEFEATS snow
  • snow DEFEATS water
You especially have to remember this while playing a Card-Jitsu Water game, because you have to be quick and alert.

Check out this video I made showing you an example of how to play a Card-Jitsu Water game, but first, here are your objectives in the game:
  • Hit the darn gong first!!!
  • To win! (Which you do so by reaching and hitting the gong first. Also, if you win a game, your percentage in your Card-Jitsu tracker will increase more than being second or third place, which means that you'll be more closer to earning your next item of your Water Ninja Suit.)
  • To be cunningly quick and alert! ;D
  • To earn your Water Ninja Suit of course!

Once you have earned your entire Water Ninja Suit, you will have to once again challenge the Sensei, and if you beat him, you will become an official Water Ninja!! I'm not a Water Ninja yet so I don't know if there's any additional information to add once you earn your whole Water Ninja Suit, but I know that much. Good luck on earning your Water Ninja Suit!

I hope this helped you out!
