Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween guys! I hope you had an awesome night! Tonight in Tootsville we had the Costume Contest! Here were the top three winners:

In first place - Goober got 4000 peanuts!!
In second place - Iq got 2000 peanuts!!
In a tie for third place - Med and I, Otiekinz, got 1000 peanuts!!

By the way, there are a few new costumes displayed around the rooms of the Haunted House, along with costumes from last year!

Also, since Halloween is coming to an end, that means Jack is leaving soon too! Taking his place, Snowcone will be here tomorrow, November 1st! Speaking of Snowcone, the holidays are going to come before we know it! Because of that, a new contest is coming up! Just like Jack's Pivit Contest, Snowcone will be having a  contest as well! Our job is to get are creative caps on again and design pivitz, clothes, or other things for the holidays!!

Be at Tootsville tomorrow, 8PM EST, for Snowcone's first appearance of the year!!

Haunted House Comes to Tootsville!

 The Haunted House is finally here in Tootsville! thsi year you can find it at the Toot Event Center in Square West.

The main room is still the same, however, there are new rooms added!

First, walking to the far left and right in the Haunted House, you will discover these two rooms:

The pictures on the walls are pivitz! These pivitz were from Jack's Pivit Contest top ten finalist.

Walking up either of the stairs, now, from the main room, you will enter Basement room (which goes up the stairs? LOL!:

You can get Slugbugs Pumpkin Pivit near the top of the picture in this room.

Also, the statues that you see in the rooms - you can't get them (yet?).

By the way, instead of having pivitz in the cauldron this year, jack will be hiding them all over Tootsville! (That's pretty much all I know about that...so yeah...keep watch for a post about the Halloween Pivitz!)

Also, there's going to be a Halloween Costume Contest tomorrow at 8PM Eastern Time Zone down at the Haunted Basement in the Haunted House!

Club Penguin Stage and Puffle News!

 Another Club Penguin Times is at your doorstep!

Night of the Living Sled: Live! is at the Stage now! Round up your buddies, form a cast and act out the new play!

Also featured in the paper... Pufflescape, one of the prototype games we beta tested on Beta Team, is coming to the island very soon! "We're digging a puffle-shaped tunnel into the underground," says a worker. Once we're done, puffles can start racing through the underground caves, and begin exploring exciting new terrain!"

The construction for Pufflescape is at the Puffle Shop, with the game schedualed to come on November 3!

Halloween Comes to Toosville!

 Halloween is just about here in Tootsville! Don't worry about the decorations for this year! The magic toots have let Shade decorate around Tootsville! It's actually pretty cool:

Follow the Shadesville sign at Toots Square, and when you enter this room...

Go into the little cave that says "Keep Out" above.

Then you will enter this new room! Shade just added his portal to the room so it's not in this picture, and it depends on if the portal is spinning or not. If it is, then you can go in it.

Also, the Haunted House and the Halloween Pivitz should come out tomorrow! Speaking of the Halloween Pivitz, here are the top three winners for Jack's Halloween Pivit Contest:

The Halloween Party is finally here in Club Penguin! The top two things you must do at this party is visit the Haunted House and the Dark Chamber! Luckily, the Haunted House is open for everyone this year! There we can help Gary hunt for ghosts! However, the Dark Chamber is for members only; there we can find our way through the slime maze! By the way, Gary IS visiting us! Make sure you try to get his Stamp!

Since we submitted a BUNCH of Pivit ideas (close to 100 to be more specific!!), Jack has a list of the top 10 finalists and their entry they did. These top ten entries will be posted on Tootsville's Facebook page. The three entries with the most Likes on the post wins! If you have one of the top three entries that has the most likes, you will have one choice of 3 prizes: a free Tootsville membership, a Toot plush of your choice, or a peice of Toot clothing or jewelery of your choice.

Or possibly a game that we beta tested from the Beta Team? Which also reminds me of the picture of the first puffle sneak peek on the post below.... On the bottom of the computer, there was two sticky notes that said "To Do: Add more stuff to Beta Team" and "Reminder: Pufflescape is a new..." To me it looks like the last word says 'name', don't you?

Club Penguin Puffle Updates!

Yesterday and today Happy77 updated us on updates for our puffles. Originally the updates would have come today, but they are taking longer than expected , so they should be here by tomorrow!! yesterday Happy asked a few questions to a programmer about the puffles new improvements:

What improvements has the team made to the puffle experience?


The biggest thing is that we've added stat bars back. Other than that we've added notifications and puffle emotes. If your puffle needs something, a little notification will pop up in-world to let you know you need to take care of your puffle. And if you go to your igloo and your puffle really needs your attention, a little icon bubble will appear over his/her head to let you know what to do. 


What's your favorite thing that's coming out this week?


Stat bars! They really help you understand how different items affect your puffles and what you need to do to keep them happy. They work way better than the original stat bars.

A few people have asked my why penguins are bigger in igloos now. Why are they bigger in igloos?


When we updated the igloo puffle art we noticed that the igloo puffles had really grown in relation to penguins. In fact, they were almost the same size as their penguin owners! It didn't look right, so we decided to make the penguins a little bigger to match the new puffle size. We also think that an igloo is a penguin's home, so it should feel a little cozier than being outside in the world. Having bigger penguins seemed to help this.

Cool! Besides the stat bars coming back, PH (Puffle Handler) is coming back, also! Here's another sneak peek that will be here tomorrow:

Her job will be to help new puffle owners and tell them how to take care of their pets! Club Penguin also wants to know what name we should give PH. They've come up with everything from Paige to Penny to Polly, but Club Penguin wants to hear our ideas!

Tootsville Halloween 2011: Jack's Halloween Pivit Contest!!

Halloween is going to be here before we know it! Jack needs our help to prepare for the Halloween Pivitz that come each day in the cauldron when Halloween comes closer. because of that, he made a contest!! All we have to do is get our creative caps on and create some Halloween Pivit(z)! Here are the rules and information:

• BE CREATIVE!
• It doesn't matter how many Pivitz you want to make
• You can draw, send a picture, or just describe your Pivit ideas (or any other way you can submit your ideas)
• Of course, it has to have some connection with Halloween in some way
• Submit your drawings or ideas to Jack's Tootsville email:   jack@tootsville.com
• try to stay away from last years pivitz. If you weren't here for that scroll down a little bit and look in the achieves, October 2010 for examples.

From my understanding, most of these pivitz, if not all, will show up in the cauldron. Jack needs about 15 pivitz, one for each day. Just a heads up, the cauldron and the Haunted House isn't up yet but will be hopefully soon!! 

Of course, in every contest there is a winner with a prize!! Winner(s?) will have a choice of getting a free membership (not quite sure if its a month, 6 month, or year membership), or an exclusive Zap Plush, or any other Toot Plush you've been wanting!

Be creative, spread the word, and MAKE SOME NOISE!!!!!!!!!

Club Penguin Adds Treasure Book into the Gift Shop!

 You can now access the Treasure Book online in Club Penguin! The book is located at the Gift Shop in the Town. When you're in the Gift Shop, you can either click the Treasure Book icon on the lower right of your screen, or you can waddle over to the treasure chest.

Here's a little of what it looks like inside:

Remember, to get some of these items from the book, you need to buy one of the CP toys at your local store. Your CP toy will come with a code that you can unlock online!

Speaking of CP toys, the Puffle Hat plush toys are available!

First, go to the Plaza and into the Pet Shop. Click on the Pet Furniture Catalog icon on the lower right of your screen. Click to the third page and you will come to the puffle hats! Check them out:

Pretty cool! It seems like each hat was made for a certain puffle, but you can experiment!

Jack is Back in the Ville!!
