Tootsville is the Official Winner of the 2011 Readers Choice Awards - Best Virtual World for Kids!!

Earlier this month I told you that Tootsville was nominated for The Best Virtual World for Kids category of the 2011 Readers Choice Awards. The voting is done, and Tootsville.com is the winner!! Here is what the Mayor posted on his blog:

"RES Interactive, LLC an integrated design & development firm and creators of Tootsville.com has been awarded the About.com's 2011 Readers Choice Award for Best Virtual World for Kids. About.com's readers narrowed down the field to five finalists including Tootsville, Club Penguin, Webosaurs, Chobots and Moshi Monsters. Tootsville.com received an overwhelming 47% of the votes to take the 2011 title. President, Creator and Mayor of Tootsville, Louis Pecci said, "We are very proud of the work we have done to bring Tootsville to the children of the world. This is the best kind of recognition, as it comes from votes from children and parents alike." Tootsville is a rich interactive social environment with a host a unique features and characters.

Tootsville.com was also voted one of the Top 25 Safest sites on the web. Tootsville.com is continuously expanding. The launch of TootsBook, a child safe version of the popular Facebook, was a pioneering step into that previously uncharted territory. Look for big things from Tootsville.com and the Toots Brand in 2011. RES plans include multiple licensing and marketing opportunities across a broad spectrum of products, phone applications and animated features."

Phone applications?! COOL!!

Congratulations Tootsville!!!

  1. Wow that is so stupid theres not even that many people in Tootsville. Someone refreshed and voted over and over....... Probably Louis..He is desperate to get more people. Anyways not that many people even voted. Tootsville is not a great site anymore. It was on its way but its taking steps backward now.

  3. No, Tootsville actually encouraged people to vote. The people voting voted once everyday. Wouldn't you want more people on your site if you created a virtual world?

  4. Those hackers just had to mess up all the fame tootsville would've had and not to mention the best parties and adventures and upgrades!
