Club Penguin Developer Updates!

Club Penguin updates us on some of the things they are working on this week:

First, the Adventure Party is coming this month, and the Penguin Team is putting the finishing touches on this awesome party. Speaking of awesome, Rockhopper is visiting the island during the party too!!

Secondly, the Team is doing some updates to their systems for the next few weeks, which means that this week's Club Penguin Times newspaper and the July Penguin Style catalog will be launching early next week instead of today! ;( But, Billybob gives us a sneak peek of the catalog! Third - yesterday I posted about the new Penguin Registration and how new penguins (and old penguins) can and will get two free items, the Red hat and Blue Cloud background. Club Penguin announces that they are still working on everybody getting these two items, and that it will take a few days to do so.

Forth - apparently some people were having problems playing Card-Jitsu and DJ3K because of glitches and causing Flash Player to freeze up. The Team has now fixed those bugs and issues!

Lastly, if you've been following the Club Penguin Beta site, you would have noticed that they have added a few prototypes here and there. The Team wants to thank us for the feedback we've given them, and that there will be more prototypes coming soon!

Custom penguins and puffles by shader!

New Club Penguin Penguin Registration!

 Are you brand new to the island, or want one of your friends to play Club Penguin? Well, you might have noticed the new Club Penguin penguin registration! When you get to the log-in page, click "Create a Penguin", and you will get this screen!

After you complete the information and check you or your parents email to activate your account, you will be logged on and sent to a lake room that's located on the map! Here you will get a short tutorial about the tool bar and the Map. Check it out:

Also, if you check your new penguin's inventory, you will get a Red Cap, a Club Penguin background, 500 coins, and a cute postcard from the Penguin Team! (Everyone will/has also get/gotten the cap and background items!)

Pretty generous, right? It's about time they do something nice for new penguins (especially non-members)!

If you've been following the messages that you've received from your Spy Phone, you would have known that the Field Ops were coming back today! They also mentioned that these Field ops are training us about different types of agents, and also whats to come in the future...

Club Penguin Launches New Map!

Club Penguin has launched their new map! I think it's pretty cool! Up on the top left corner you will see 4 icons: Games, Places, Shops, and Pets. Click on any of those icons and it will show you where they are on the map! Now it's super easy to get from place to place faster!

 A new Club Penguin Time is at your doorstep today!

 A new Club Penguin Times is at your door step with Music Jam news written all over it!

Peace at Last on Club Penguin!

If you've been following the messages that you've received from your Spy Phone this week, you have learned that Herbert has left the EPF Rooftop! This means that Herbert has been defeated once again and it seems that we finally have peace on the island! For now at least....

The Director has informed us today that Field Ops will temporarily be suspended, and EPF agents can have a break.

That's kind of too bad! I think it was fun doing those Field Ops, how about you?

June Club Penguin Style Catalog Cheats!!

 A new Penguin Style catalog is here with some really cool Music Jam outfits! To get to the catalog, log into Club Penguin, click on your map, and go to the Town. Then, waddle into the Gift Shop, and click on the Penguin Style icon on the bottom right of your screen. Here are the hidden item cheats:

To find the first two cheats, click to page 2 and click on the yellow puffle.

Here you'll find the Red Viking Helmet!!

The next cheat is on the same page. Click on and off the yellow puffle a few times really fast, and...

Eventually you will find the Blue Viking Helmet!!

Go to the next page (page 3) to find your next item. Click on the little speaker thingy.

Here you will find the Black Electric Guitar!!

Next, go to the next page (page 4), and click on the blue square.

Here you'll find The Shore Thing!!

This next cheat is on page 5. Click on the pink tiki's eye.

Here you'll find the Blue Double Necked Guitar!!

For the last cheat, stay on the same page and click on the yellow surfboard.

Here you'll find the Purple Electric Bass!!

I love some of these looks! They really are EYE POPPING!!
